Zago worked with Center for Court Innovation to help redesign the experience at Manhattan Criminal Court, located at 100 Centre Street. The project aims to transform the built environment of the courthouse in order to communicate respect, understanding, and neutrality — core tenants of procedural justice. This approach is reflected in the clear design language used on the signage throughout the building. The signs tell visitors key information they will need and clear directional signs guide them to where they need to go.
