Library of Congress —
Shall Not Be Denied
EXHIBITION DESIGN / IDENTITY

Shall Not Be Denied: Women Fight for the Vote was a temporary exhibition at the Library of Congress which ran from June 2019 – October 2021. The exhibition illuminated the 70-year struggle for women’s suffrage — the largest reform movement in U.S. history — through artifacts, documents, and items from the personal collections of the suffragists who championed equality. Pure+Applied worked with the LOC team across different elements of the exhibition including; conceptual development, floorplan and elevation design, graphic identity and system design, exhibition graphics and installation.
